Zoologischer Garten Berlin was founded in 1844, and presents the most diverse range of species in the world. The Berlin Zoo is considered one of the largest in the world. There is a large aquarium in the area as well. It is still the largest aquarium in Germany at this time.
What is so unusual is that the Berlin Zoo has elaborate houses for the animals in many of the areas. You will not see zoo housing like this in many other countries.

Berlin Tiergarten The Tiergarten (Animal Garden) is Berlin's largest park located in Mitte .
Tiergarten park is also one of Europe's largest and most beautiful inner-city
parks of winding paths, lakes, bridges, sculptures, historical statues, and
gorgeous flower beds.
